Inner snuff bottle painting is a unique form of art. The origin of the inner snuff bottle painting can be traced to Ming and Ching dynasty. The technique of the inner painting is to insert a specially designed slender pen with a bend at the tip through the neck, together with an accomplished artist working in the tight space of the bottle cavity which enables the pen to etch vivid designs and calligraphy onto the inner surface of the bottle. This fascinating art form was used in the creation of this Longio wrist watch's exquisite dial.
